August Summary (Part 1)

August was a pretty busy month in the Horvick household.

Cece, Ben and Evie tested in Tae Kwon Do earning their green stripe, white stripe and blue stripe belts respectively. Ben and Cece both broke boards and all three sparred as well as demonstrated their respective forms and one-steps as well as their understanding on the tenents on Tae Kwon Do and their progress in learning basic Korean words and phrases.

Brian was choosen to be on the safety patrol at school. To earn his spot he had to write an essay explaining why he wanted to be on the safety patrol and have the the support of his teacher. He needs to arrive at school early and leave a little later to make sure the younger kids can navigate the crossing areas safely and helps keep the hallways under control.
