August Summary (Part 2)

We hit the beach a few times this August too. We like to go down to Kure Beach near Wilmington, NC.

Now that the kids are a little older and stronger swimmers we spent more time in the water taking in the sand and surf.

Just down the beach is one of the NC aquariums. It's a great place to cool down and we're members so we can come and go as we please. We arrived as divers were doing a presentation in the ginormous salt water tank (it was too dark for photos) and the kids enjoyed spending a few hours just meandering around seeing the exhibits.
