Benkwondo

Today was Ben's first class at White Tiger Taekwondo. He did a great job. He had a really good time and the instructor was pleased with how he performed.

Evie's Birthday Bash

Alberto dropped 6 inches on us today causing most roads and businesses to close ... this included Bullwinkles - Evie's birthday headquarters. Not to be denied - we pulled together a party at home. Here are some pictures of her big fifth birthday bash...

Cub Scouts Day at the Ball Game

We went with the Boy's Pack to see the Durham Bulls. It was a beautiful day! We had a blast. the last inning was rained on, but all in all it was a great time.

5th Grade DC Trip

Well we made it! What a trip! Cecilia and I went to DC with the Entire 5th Grade class from her school. It was Great! We saw it all. We are both beat, but it was so worth it. This picture up top is what the inside of the capital buildings dome looks like. Everything in DC is so beautiful! It's like being in a different country. First we went to the Smithsonians,(Air and space, Natural sciences, American History) We went to the National Archives and saw the declaration of independence. Then we went to the Washington and Lincon Memorials, while there we saw the Vietnam wall and the Korean memorial. Then we had dinner at Union Station. After that we went to the Jefferson Memorial and then collapsed for the night. The next day we toured the Capital Building, Saw the White House, and Walked all over Arlington cemetery, and then drove home.
