I have been waiting 10 years for this day...

Off to camp!

Today we all drove out to Camp Mary Atkinson to drop off Cece for a fun-filled week at Girl Scout camp.

We arrived to a long line but it quickly got moving when the gates opened.

It didn't take long to get to the front

And finally through the checkin process.

The girls will be roughing it just a little. Four to a tent but they are well protected and the plumbing works, we hear.

We'll see her again next Friday.

A day at the NC Zoo in Asheboro

This Saturday we packed up and drove to Asheboro for a day at the zoo. It was our first time visiting so there was a lot to see and do. We liked it so much we became members.

A day at Jordon Lake

On Thursday Sue took Cece and some neighborhood kids out to Jordon Lake for a day in the sun.

Back to School

Three of our kids go to year-round school, July 9th was their first day in their new classes
Evie is now in First Grade!
Ben is in 4th Grade!
And Brian is a 5th Grader! this is Bri's last year of Elementary School. Next year he will join his Sister in the middle school.

We're Back From MN!

We all got to go fishing! some of us caught fish too.

We stayed at Thumper Pond for the Family Reunion.
They have a great water park there. The kids got to meet a lot of family they had never met



Mom and Dad had a wonderful 50th Anniversary party at Thumper Pond.

We had the 4th all together at Pelican Lake. Both sides of the family were there.
We had a lot of fun shooting off fireworks for the kids.



Dave and Ruby came to visit us at Monson Lake. It was the first time we met Ruby!!
